We offer all prospective students a trial program to come in and get acquainted with our staff and become familiar with the School/Dojo.

Prospective students will get to attend regular classes and work with an instructor or assistant instructor in their first class.

We will provide all necessary training equipment.

These classes must be scheduled prior to attending.

* This program is an ideal way for prospective students to decide if Core Martial Arts is the right fit.

What to bring

Students interested in attending a trial class with Core Martial Arts will need to bring the following items:

• Workout shorts (no zippers or buttons) It is recommended that students wear a pair of spandex/compression type of shorts under their outer shorts.
• Students may wear sweats or workout pants instead of shorts
• T-shirt or workout top
• Water bottle
• Towel
• Shoes are not allowed on the mats, we train barefoot

What to expect

• Students should come 15 minutes prior to their first class  to fill out personal information form and liability waiver.
• Students will be introduced to the instructor(s) and take a quick tour of the facility.
• Students will have time to change before class if needed.
• Expect to have a great time and meet fun, interesting people.  The class may be physically challenging, so it is recommended that you come hydrated, and have had a good source of nutrition 1-1.5 hours prior to class time.  Coffee, soda, and heavy foods should be avoided before your workout.

Our expectations

Core Martial Arts is excited to offer our trial program.  We will do our best to make sure you have a great time and feel comfortable with our staff and students.  There are no further obligations after attending our program, but we do ask the following:

• Please do not come to class if you are sick or contagious.
• Trial class by appointment only
• If you must cancel class please call and let us know you will not be attending your scheduled class.
• Please observe our school rules.

  We are located near the Englewood Recreation Center and 1 block away from the oxford light rail station
